With the aim of selling climate-neutral e-gasoline, Mabanaft and HIF (Highly Innovative Fuels), Chile, have signed a memorandum of understanding. Mabanaft is thus positioning itself for the market launch of e-fuels. read more

P2X Europe is driving the path to carbon neutrality in mobility and chemicals: The joint venture between Mabanaft and the H&R Group plans to purchase synthesis-based e-fuels and waxes from renewable resources from Nordic Electrofuel. From 2024, P2X Europe will purchase commercial quantities of fuel and waxes and market them mainly in the jet fuel sector, but also in the basic chemical industry. read more

Mabanaft has become ammonia offtaker and operating partner in Gulf Coast Ammonia LLC (GCA). The ammonia production plant (currently under construction) with nameplate capacity of approx. 1.3 million metric tons per year at Texas City, USA, is expected to enter commercial levels of production in 2024. read more
Mabanaft has joined the CAMPFIRE consortium. CAMPFIRE is an alliance of companies, scientists and agencies in the German North-East region that aims to develop technologies, processes and services to realize the vision: "Wind and water to ammonia - Maritime fuel and energy storage for a zero-emission future". Mabanaft will participate in several working groups in the CAMPFIRE consortium to promote and advance topics such as, among others, ammonia bunkering, ammonia safety and green ammonia trading.
In November 2022, Mabanaft announced that it intends to build facilities for the import and handling of ammonia on the site of the existing Blumensand tank terminal in the port of Hamburg. read more
In May 2021, Mabanaft acquired a minority stake in Wolf Energetik GmbH (formely known as NACOMPEX GmbH). Thanks to our investment in the Brandenburg-based company, we will now be able to launch two pilot projects to research and develop an innovative and decentralised system to store and transport hydrogen. read more
