Avon Lodge is of strategic importance as it is located on the outskirts of Bristol and close to the M5 motorway, the main traffic artery in England's southwest. The truckstop offers excellent facilities for drivers and vehicles, including a truck wash, bunker facilities and secure overnight parking for 65 trucks, as well as showers, a café, lounge and shop.
The success of the facility is a credit to previous owners, Brian York and Richard Ollis. Through their vision, knowledge and management skills, Avon Lodge has become a benchmark facility in the industry. Mabanaft Ltd. chose Avon Lodge as their second truckstop acquisition due to its high standards and good reputation in the market. Mabanaft Ltd. plans to retain all the employees and will seek to develop the offering at the truckstop.
