25th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE)

Since 1980, the European Biomass Conference and Exhibition (EUBCE) is held at different venues throughout Europe. This year, it takes place in Stockholm from June 12 – 15, 2017.

Europe's biggest international event of its kind combines a tradeshow for companies with a conference program aimed at participants from the research, industrial, political and biomass sectors. In 2016, the event – which is held at a different location in Europe each year – attracted 1572 registered participants from 73 countries, as well as 50 associations and international organizations. With more than 780 presentations by 3732 authors and co-authors, 2 parallel events at any given time, and 8 workshops, the EUBCE has developed into a globally leading event. At EUBCE, the latest findings by leading research organizations are presented, innovative approaches for bioenergy from industry are explored, and international experts report on the current situation and the relevant political contexts for this sector.
