Marquard & Bahls Expands Its Executive Board
In recent years Marquard & Bahls has significantly grown both its existing and new lines of business. The company’s Executive and Supervisory Board therefore decides to increase the number of Executive Board members from two to four. Alongside Wim Lokhorst (Chief Executive Officer) and Claus-George Nette (Chief Financial Officer), two new members are appointed to the Executive Board: Christian Flach and Gust Spaepen.
In addition to their new responsibilities, Christian Flach and Gust Spaepen remains Managing Directors of Mabanaft and Oiltanking respectively. This measure enhances representation of the company’s two core divisions – trading and tank storage – on the Executive Board of Marquard & Bahls, and gives the company’s management a broader overall setup.
