Trainees / Junior Trader (m/f)

Core Responsibilities

Our long experience means we have excellent market knowledge and our flat decision-making structure allows us to react quickly on market changes. You will prepare market analyses for various products and regions which we will use to further support our overall growth strategy. You will assist our traders in the front line and process all sales and purchase contracts. You will quickly familiarize yourself with risk management, controlling, financing and terms such as derivatives, swaps and hedges. You will be in direct contact with our business partners and brokers and actively contribute to the successful expansion of our company.

Job Requirements

You have a commercial qualification/on the job experience or a university degree and outstanding analytical talent combined with all relevant standard IT software skills. Ideally, you have completed internships or gained substantial knowledge in the energy or commodity industry. You have excellent negotiating skills and are used to working independently and purposefully. You are eager to face new challenges and are fluent in English. Knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage for an international assignment. You are also highly motivated, flexible and a team player.
